Vidstitch - Video and Picture Collage Frame App Reviews

First of all, any app that locks the window so it can’t be resized and also applies a custom chrome to all the controls is just a bad UX move. Keep it native please. It seriously does not enhance the experience. Instead it makes the app super frustrating to use. Another big drawback is that the dividers inside the frames are not adjustable. That’s a standard in collage apps and for this price I certainly expected for that feature to be there. The export resolution is capped at 1080? Kinda small. Overall, for me this app was disappointing, especially at this price. I don’t think I’ll be using it as I really value good user experience.

This is just a single page collage. Nothing special. No photos or videos fading out to another photo or page. Very limited.

Worthless app. Videos do not fit in the frames offered and must be cropped cutting out ⅓ of the content. Volume controls do not work. no option to edit without re-rendering. don’t waste your time with this app

Finally an app on the mac app store to combine videos and photos! Thank you! Lots of frames to choose from. Able to add music and even select the order of videos. Would love direct instagram integration to upload to instagram from the mac app, but i think instagram doesn’t allow that.

Seems to take forever even when combining small videos. I have yet to get one completed out put as I suspect the program is hanging. A progress bar would be a good indication that somethng is being processed and that the app hasnt crashed.

I would like to give this app a 5-star review if the developer would add the following features in a future update: -ability to pan and crop video inside a frame. Now you can only zoom in and there’s no control at all where to put the focus on. -add frame options for more pictures, currently only up to 4 pictures/videos can be added to each frame. I would love to see options for more pictures per frame. (for instance I would like to add up to 9 pictures into a square frame for posting on Instagram). -abiltity to run app in full screen mode I hope the developer will consider these remarks!!

I don’t get why this app wouldn’t get 5 stars. It works. Simple as that. I’m on iMac 4K running OSX Yosemite. Loads videos fine. No lag. Makes video and photo collages. Nothing fancy, but does the job. :)

The video settings did not work. I installed this onto my mac mini. I want to add music and there is no response when I continue to click onto the video button. I looked and looked for a photo collage that allows music and that would connect with Instagram. I hope I get reached to fix this problem. Waste of money and time so far.

Do not waste your money on this one. Does not function as advertised.

There’s a lot you can’t do in the app. Big waste of $4.99. I’m trying to make a cool collage of videos we shot for work, how-to videos, but I don’t want to play all 90 seconds of all 6. By the way, the most videos this lets you collage is 4. We shot in super high quality so the rendering is taking for-ev-er. I wish I didn’t waste my time.

simple things like being able to trim or edit the vids within the frames are not available!! even the phone apps have that option! #fail fix it baby Jesus!
